A safe middleman for CS2, Dota 2, TF2 and Rust trades
Selling a skin to another player directly means someone has to go first — and that is where most Steam trade scams happen. With SkinsVolt P2P neither side goes first: our bot holds the items, the site holds the buyer’s money, and both are released only when the deal is complete.
What the middleman protects you from
- The buyer “forgets” to pay after receiving the skin — the items stay with our bot until the payment is locked.
- Trade reversal: CS2 trades can be rolled back during Steam Trade Protection. The hold covers that period, so nobody can pull the items back after being paid.
- Fake middlemen and impersonators in Discord or Steam chat — every offer from our bot carries a security code you can check on the Verify page.
Who it is for
- Players selling a knife, gloves or a rare skin to a friend or a buyer from a forum
- Buyers who want to pay a stranger without the risk of losing the money
- Traders who agreed on a price in Discord, Telegram or Reddit and need an escrow
P2P middleman — questions
What is a CS2 middleman?
A trusted third party that holds the skins and the money during a deal between two players. On SkinsVolt this is our bot and the site balance, so the deal does not depend on trusting a person.
How does a P2P deal work?
The seller picks items, sets a price and sends them to our bot. The seller shares the deal link, the buyer pays from the SkinsVolt balance and the money is locked. After the hold the bot sends the items to the buyer and the seller gets paid.
Who pays the fee?
The fee is paid by the seller and is shown before the deal is created. The buyer pays exactly the price of the deal.
Why is there a hold?
Steam lets CS2 trades be reversed for several days. The hold makes sure the items cannot be pulled back after the seller is paid, which protects both sides.
What if the buyer does not pay?
If the deal is not paid in time, the bot returns the items to the seller automatically.
